     David Locke was born in 1767.2 He was the son of Elisha Locke and Tryphena Moulton.3,4 David Locke married Elizabeth Lellingham on 2 June 1787.5 David Locke married Rachel Brainard, daughter of Daniel B. Brainard, on 6 November 1809 at Stewartstown. David Locke died on 19 February 1834 at Maidstone, Vermont.2
     He David was one of the incorporators of Stewartstown in 1799, and settled on lot #2 in 1800. He is said to have been a selectman in Cincinnati, Ohio but died in Maidstone, Vermont.5

     Elisha Locke was baptized in 1719 at Rye, New Hampshire.1 He was the son of Deacon William Locke and Hannah Knowles.2,3 Elisha Locke married Tryphena Moulton, daughter of Daniel Moulton and Phoebe Philbrick, on 13 January 1743.
     Elisha Locke Elisha of Rye bought land in Barrington Oct 30, 1739, he and wife sold it in 1752. He, called a housewright, bought and sold land in Barrington 1752-5-6. Sold land in Rye 1755. He bought land in Chester in 1755-6, and sold it in 1764. Elisha of Chester bought land in Haverhill 1763 and Elisha a miller of Haverhill sold, in 1767 all his rights as charter member of Chester. He was a pioneer of Haverhill, NH.1 He served at on 2 July 1746 at Fort William and Mary, New Castle.1
