     Robert Lockwood was baptized on 18 January 1600/1 at Combs, County Suffolk, England.2 He was the son of Edmund Lockwood and Alice Cowper.2 Robert Lockwood married Susanna Norman, daughter of Richard Norman and Florence (?), before 1634 at Salem, Massachusetts.1,3,2 Robert Lockwood died in 1658 at Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut.4 His estate was probated on 11 September 1658 at Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut.2
     He immigrated before 1633 to Massachusetts; possibly as early as 1630.2
